Learning Outcomes

Learning outcomes help you work towards your educational goals.

  1. Demonstrate the ability to analyze, appraise, evaluate fire incidents; Explain size-up, the incident command system, the 10 standard fire orders, the 18 situations that shout watch out and identify the common factors associated with injuries and deaths in the line of duty.
  2. Identify minimum qualifications and the needed entry skills for the fire fighter position.
  3. Upon completion of the Fire and Emergency Technology program, the student will show knowledge of federal and state laws, regulations and codes pertaining to safety and efficiency in all risk emergencies and scenarios pertaining to fire, safety, and or medical services.
